These can be returned to the melt in the form of metal briquettes. In Brazil, CRONIMET converts tungsten and molybdenum concentrates into ferro molybdenum and ferro tungsten. We have also built the first FeTi70% plant of Latin America, which is produced with scrap mainly purchased and processed in our EU and US operations. In addition, the FeTi70% and some other products as FeB and Carbon are being produced in our cored wire plant, serving mainly to the Brazilian steel sector a wide range of primary materials.  

The CRONIMET Group's company revomet deals with the recycling of batteries from electric vehicles. During the year 2026, the Bitterfeld site will have its own facility for shredding entire battery packs and then separating them into their various components. This will further advance CRONIMET's efforts to keep valuable metallic raw materials in the cycle.
