My name is Jan Knaak – I am working for the company of Damstahl in Germany.

It’ s the third time that I am now participating the SMR Event.

We started participating in Como 2021 and it’s always nice to come here to see a lot of friends and colleagues from the industry – suppliers and also competitors and have a good exchange over 3 full days.

This year we, of course, hope for some guidance in this very volatile market of stainless steel. It has been a tough year so far for all of us – you can sense from the mood people have here. But all in all, I think, it is very important to have this exchange and also to be optimistic. Everything that is coming, we are very curious about this and we just hope that the market is favorable to us.
