Once again, the stainless steel industry has met from all over the world and the whole supply chain to discuss critical issues, this time here in Istanbul, in a beautiful place.

But we met at a difficult time, at a time where profitability has reached the bottom for almost everyone and markets have started to stagnate and stall almost everywhere, including even China.

But what we learned in the last three days here is really that there is hope that we get some help from politics, from governments, and also that there are areas where stainless steel can probably replace other materials and continue to grow.

So we are all looking forward to our next conference in Frankfurt. Now, many might ask, why are we going from Istanbul to Frankfurt? I say only one thing, we need to support the German economy. So with this, I look forward to seeing as many as possible in Frankfurt in September 2026.
