Anand Gupta was born in New Delhi (India) in the year 1980. He earned his B.A (Hons) degree in International Business from the University of Portsmouth, U.K, in 2001.
Upon completing his graduation, he joined his family’s stainless-steel business:
Ambica Steels Limited, where he took a lot of interest in learning various aspects of steel making; starting from the procurement of scraps, steel melting and refining thru oxygen convertor, billet & ingot casting department, hot rolling mills, and then he started taking the conventional family business to a global & international platform. In 2004, he started the very first export business of stainless steel cast billets.
In 2005, he established a green-field cold-finishing plant for producing Stainless Steel Bright Bars, Squares & Hexagons. His sales started from the European region and later developed sales across 50 countries worldwide, achieving a sales growth of over 100% every year.
In the early 2008, he expanded the product offering by successfully foraying into the cold-finishing operations of Stainless Steel Angles & Flat Bars.
In the end of 2013, he commissioned the fully-automatic Bright Bar processing machines with an initial investment of about US$ 10 million and became a pioneer in introducing state-of-the-art technology into a traditional family-owned manufacturing business in India. He was meticulously involved with the Germany company (who manufactured this machine) while designing & layouting of this 350-foot long production line.
In the mid 2014, Anand Gupta decided to take an exit from the conventional family business, and in the family business separation settlement; Anand Gupta decided to move out of Ambica Steels, and in return he got in his share; the entire Cold-Finishing Exports division (along with the factory containing latest Bright Bar processing machine).
In early 2015, Anand Gupta named his new company as “Aamor Inox Limited”.
After this family business separation, encouraged with his strong conviction & commitment towards Stainless Steel Long Products industry, in the year 2016,
Anand Gupta invested US$ 5 million into an ultramodern fully-automatic Germanmade Heat Treatment furnaces which provide an unmatchable mechanical properties into the materials. With a quench delay of just 30 seconds, and temperature uniformity of + 3 degree, this is undoubtedly the most superior Heat Treatment furnace available worldwide. This furnace already meets AMS 2750E as well as NORSOK certification, and is now in the process of obtaining NADCAP.
