Aydin Avar is the Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at POSCO ASSAN TST, Turkey’s leading cold-rolled stainless steel manufacturer and a joint venture between POSCO and Kibar Holding. With nearly two decades of experience in the flat steel industry, he has held senior roles spanning export sales, procurement, and commercial strategy.

Before joining POSCO ASSAN TST, Aydin worked at the Istanbul office of NLMK Group and served in key purchasing and sales roles across Kibar Holding’s industrial and trading divisions. Since 2018, he has been at the forefront of POSCO ASSAN TST’s commercial transformation—leading market repositioning initiatives, restructuring sales channels, and spearheading export growth. He has played a pivotal role in trade defense cases and in aligning the company’s commercial model with European customer expectations, effectively bridging Asian production capabilities with European quality and compliance standards.

Aydin holds a degree in Business Economics and has specialized expertise in pricing, trade policy, and market development within the stainless steel industry.
