Bernardo Velázquez Herreros. A distinguished ICAI egineer with a career of over three decades at Acerinox. Started in the Marketing Department in 1990 and eventually he became the CEO of Acerinox, a position he has held since 2010. His extensive career at the company includes key roles such as General Manager, Strategy Director, and Information Systems Director, following international assignments in Mexico and Australia. He is the Chairman of North American Stainless (NAS) and VDM Metals. He chairs UNESID, the Spanish steel industry association, is the Vice-President of World Stainless (the global stainless steel association), and a board member of EUROFER, the European association of steel manufacturers. In 2011, he was appointed a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, a title granted by the State Governor, Steven L. Beshear. He also participates in non-profit organizations related with social projects.
