Dr. Burak Erkartal is a materials scientist with more than ten years of industrial experience in business development, product and process development, and technical customer consulting. Since 2024, he has worked in Business Development Manager at Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH, where he identifies new markets and applications, develops customer-specific material solutions, and manages projects from feasibility assessment through industrialization.

Previously, he served as Head of Product Development at BWS, focusing on cold-rolling processes, customer consulting, project management, and new product development. He holds a doctorate degree in materials science and metallurgy. His expertise includes metallurgy, materials characterization, heat treatment, electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and mechanical testing.
