Caio is an Italian/Brazilian professional who has been working for the last 11 years with the technical development of Stainless Steels. He started his career in 2011 in Aperam South America as an Application Engineer, where he was in charge of the technical development and technical assistance for the main industry segments, such as Automotive, White Goods, Oil and Gas and Capital Goods. In 2018 Caio relocated as an expat to Aperam Stainless France where he worked until 2020 as a Global Technical Business Developer for important projects of the company in the automotive industry, such as the development of Body in White and Battery Pack materials.

In 2020 Caio was invited by CBMM | Niobium to assume the leadership of the Global Stainless Steel Development Program of the company, where he is currently leading the technical development of Niobium (Nb) Bearing Stainless Steels with the majority of the Stainless Steel Producers and Final Users of Stainless in the world. Caio holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and Master’s in Science Degree in Metallurgical Engineering by the University of São Paulo.
