On April 3rd, 2023, Chris Zimmer, was appointed EVP and Chief Operating Officer of Universal Stainless & Alloy Products.

He began his career in 1995 with the North American distribution arm of the Ugitech mills, which is today a part of the Swiss Steel group. He initially joined the sales department, and advanced through the organization during his 13 years to the VP of North American Distribution role. In 2008, he joined Universal Stainless as VP of Sales & Marketing, and advanced to EVP & Chief Commercial Officer in 2014. Chris holds a Bachelor Science in Business and Management, with a minor in Psychology, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
