Born 1972, Material Engineer and post graduate in Continuous Casting Processes at British Columbia University, Gianluca Gigli was appointed as CTO for Arvedi Acciai Speciali Terni in Februarry 2023. Before he was working six years as Quality & Sustainability director for Marcegaglia Group.  From mid-2005 to 2017  he was joining Thyssenkrupp AST covering several position in Quality control and Technical Sales. From 1998 to mid-2005 he was working as a researcher for Centro Sviluppo Materiali, former R&D center for Italian Steel Industry.
