Mr Haijun Wang is currently Chairman of Shanghai Decent Investment Group Co Ltd.  From 2008 to 2023, he was President of the company, being in charge of investment and trade in stainless steel and nickel industry.  Major investments have been made in China and Indonesia on production of several types of nickel products as well as stainless steel hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils.  From 2004-2007, Mr Wang was the President of Tsingshan Holding Group Shanghai International Trading Co Ltd, being responsible for stainless steel trade mainly stainless steel seamless pipe & tube export.  Before joining Tsingshan, Mr Wang was Deputy Chief Representative of Danieli Beijing Representative Office, handling marketing and sales of metallurgical equipment including steelmaking, steel rolling and conditioning facilities from 1995 to 2004.  Prior to that, he was Engineer of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, conducting research works on Rocke Engines, mainly pre-studies on the low temperature liquid hydrogen & oxygen rocket engine.      

Mr Wang obtained Post-Graduate Degree in Rocket Engine from China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, and Bachelor Degree in Rocket Engine from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.  He studied high school in Inner Mongolia.
