Ivette’s professional expertise has been molded in the stainless steel industry since 1987. Her career began as Sales Manager for the Mexinox Mill in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and in 1992 she was promoted to National Sales Manager. She retired briefly in 1997, and resumed her role as an active family business member in 2002, being responsible for leading the Prominox Distribution Center. In 2015, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Ivette has led Prominox’s growth through a dynamic, effective, and influential leadership style. During her tenure, the company has expanded into eighteen branches in strategic locations within Mexico, plus a Service Center in San Luis Potosi. Ivette’s vision also encompassed developing the business to service the U.S. market, and in 2020, Prominox USA was incorporated in Texas. The company has two locations, the headquarters in Dallas and a branch office in Houston. Prominox is also servicing the Colombian market through a branch office in Medellin.

Ivette also serves as a Board Member of Grupo Industrial Mexicano, the family business holding company. Throughout her career, Ivette has gained extensive and invaluable experience in stainless steel sales, and she strongly believes in building long-term relationships with suppliers and customers as the key to successful business collaborations.

Ivette holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) in Mexico City and obtained a Board Member certification from Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direccion de Empresa (IPADE). She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French and has basic proficiency in Italian.
