Joachim Dohm has been with Neste since 2019, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and M&A for the Neste Group, as well as Managing Director of Neste Germany GmbH. In earlier roles at Neste, he led long-term innovation and the strategic expansion of Neste’s global renewable fuels footprint, driving key projects such as the US joint venture with Marathon and the investment in a new world-scale renewable fuels refinery in Rotterdam.

Prior to Neste, Joachim Dohm was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and an Executive Committee member at specialty chemicals company CABB Group (2015–2019). He held a similar executive development role at specialty films manufacturer Treofan Group from 2013 to 2015.

He began his career at Bayer AG (1990–2013), holding leadership roles across R&D, Innovation Management, Manufacturing and Strategy / M&A, including international assignments in Canada and Belgium.

Joachim Dohm holds a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of Bonn and an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA).
