On February 1st, 2023 Kumar Vishal, Associate Vice President in Jindal Stainless Limited was appointed as Head of International Sales

 

He joined Jindal Stainless in 1999 in R&D Department and worked there till year 2006. During these year, the major contribution was the development of mathematical model and AI simulation of AOD convertor alongwith development of 400 series and Duplex stainless steel.

In 2007 he moved to Technical Marketing and in Special Product Division to create EU market for Precision Strips and Razor Blade Steel exports. By 2010 Jindal Stainless became the largest producer of Razor Blade Steel and at that time he was Heading the Sales of this division.

In 2011, after capacity expansion of 1 million ton in Odisha, he moved to International Sales of regular stainless steel where he contributed towards the increasing the business in USA, EU and S Korea through close association with alliances with service centers to serve OEMs. He also worked for the revival of JSL service center in Spain. Last year, JSL became the 4th largest exporter of PMP after the 3 Europeans. During his tenture he also received several awards like “The Business Leadership Award 2022” by Economic Times for “Outstanding Contribution to the Industry”;  “Agile Strategy Leader of year 2019” by Transformance Business. The biography also got published by IBC, Cambridge under “2000 outstanding intellectuals of 21st Century in 2012.
