William Zahner has worked within the architectural metal industry for over 40 years.  His firm, Zahner, engineers, fabricates and installs highly complex metal surfaces on buildings around the world.  His firm is one of the oldest and largest users of stainless steel for architecture in the United States.

He has authored 7 books on metal used in art and architecture and he and his firm have received numerous awards and recognition from the industry for creative use of metal as a design material.   He holds several patents on the use and manufacture of metal for the building industry.
