Marie Louise Falkland joined Avesta AB in 1989 as a Technical Market Development engineer.

During the three and a half decades in stainless steel industry she has held several different positions during the transformation from Avesta AB, Avesta Sheffield via Avesta Polarit to what today is Outokumpu. Positions covered are e.g., Global technical market development manager, P/L responsible site manager Avesta Works, vice president R&D and now lately Senior Manager, Development Portfolio Governance & Strategy.

Marie Louise is based in Avesta, Sweden and holds a master’s degree in Metallurgy and Material Science from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
