On January 16th, 2019 Mark E. Davis, was appointed Managing Director of Bahru Stainless SDN BHD a subsidiary of Acerinox S.A.  He joined the Acerinox Group in 1991 after completing his Materials Science & Metallurgical Engineering studies at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was first assigned to the Technical Department of North American Stainless where he worked through 1996.  From 1997 through July 2011 he worked in the Production Area first as Lead Supervisor of the Hot Rolling Operations Department followed by Department Manager responsibilities of both Cold Rolling Operations and Melting Shop Operations.

Mark next joined Bahru Stainless as Operations Director working in that capacity until his recent appointment to the Managing Directors position.  During his time as Operations Director, he was responsible for the start-up and commissioning of all the Phase 1 and 2 equipment as well as the day to day operations of the manufacturing facilities.
