On October 1st, 2021 Mark Nucci, was appointed VP Steel Procurement for Samuel, Son & Co., Ltd.

He joined Samuel in 2017 in the Procurement group responsible for Carbon Steel purchasing and then became VP Carbon Steel Procurement. In 2021 he became VP Steel Procurement being responsible for all Carbon and Stainless Steel Purchasing throughout the company. Mark started his career in 1986 in the steel industry working for Stelco. He progressed through various commercial roles ending up as General Manager Automotive for Stelco. He then accepted a role as Director Automotive for US Steel in Michigan where he led the team for nine years. Mark, 60, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal.
