On January 1st, 2016, Matthew Kouba was hired and appointed as the Managing Director of Boellinghaus Steel Americas.

He began his career at Distributor Metals/Summit Stainless, a subsidiary of Sumitomo and master distributor of stainless products in 1992 as an inside sales representative.  He worked here until August of 2012 where he eventually held the position of National Sales Manager and GM from 2004 until 2012.  In late 2012 he joined North American Stainless as the first Long Products Marketing Manager where he worked directly with customers to improve stock and sales at their warehouse facilities across the USA and began the long-term project developing NAS Ultra to improve machinability.  In January of 2016 he joined and opened the first International Office of Boellinghaus as Managing Director where he oversees the company’s development across North America.  Matt, 53, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics from Elmhurst University in Illinois.
