After graduating at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) with a master degree in Material Engineering, Mattia Del Giacco earned the PhD degree in Nuclear Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (Germany).

In 2012 Matt joined Montanstahl AG, a company specialized in the manufacturing and distribution of stainless steel special and structural profiles.

Montanstahl is the leading company of the Montanstahl group, which includes Montanstahl AG, Montanstahl GmbH (former Hoesch Schwerte Extruded Profiles), Architectural Steel Profiles, Siderval and Stainless Structurals.

In 2013 Matt led the establishment of Stainless Structurals manufacturing plant in Conroe, Texas and he is CEO of Stainless Structurals since 2016.

Matt is also COO of the Montanstahl group since 2021.
