In November 2022, Mr. Mattia Giandomenico Sala was appointed as Sales Director of Arvedi AST, a company from Arvedi Group specializing in flat products made of stainless steel. Dr. Sala has over 15 years of experience in the steelmaking industry, having held various positions chiefly in the area of sales and commerce.

After an important stint as an Account Manager at Lucchini S.p.A., in 2012 Mr. Sala joined Ascometal Italia Srl, where he started out as Key Account Manager to be later (January 2016) promoted to Sales Director reporting to the CCO of Ascometal S.A. headquartered in Paris.

In November 2016, Mr. Sala joined ABS (Acciaierie Bertoli Safau S.p.A., Danieli Group), where he started his stint as Mechanical Business Line Manager responsible for sales in Italy and Europe. In April 2019, Mr. Sala was promoted to Sales Executive Manager at ABS responsible for all lines of the company’s business: Hot Forging, Open-Die, Mechanical and Global Export; his duties also involved supervising 22 sales managers in Europe and coordinating the agents in Brazil, Türkiye and the UK.

Mr. Sala is a graduate of Università degli Studi di Padova. He holds an Executive Master in Business and Management from Politecnico di Milano and attended a course in Key Account Management at SDA Bocconi, School of Management.
