Mauricio Autrique is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in the steel industry.

Since 1994, he has served as Managing Director (CEO) of Productos Especializados de Acero S.A. (PEASA), where he oversees five production plants in Mexico focused on manufacturing various steel tube types and grades. He led major capacity expansions—from 10,000 to 60,000 tons—using state-of-the-art equipment and developed new automotive business lines worth $80 million USD.

Earlier, he was Supply Chain Manager at PEASA (1993–1994), implementing MRP systems and overseeing procurement, logistics, and customer service.

He began his career as a Project Engineer at Mexinox S.A. (1992–1993).

He is also a Board Member of Grupo Industrial Mexicano (GIM) and has held leadership roles in industry organizations such as CANACERO and COMCE.
