Böllinghaus Steel GmbH, Business Development Manager
Philip Torger has more than fifteen years of experience in the steel industry. After graduating in Industrial Management from the Vocational College in Krefeld, he completed his studies in Business Administration at the FOM University of Economy and Management in Neuss.
From 2008 to 2013 he worked as a Sales Manager for ThyssenKrupp Nirosta, dealing with various key export markets, including UK, Spain and Switzerland. In 2013, he moved to Outokumpu EMEA GMBH, where he held the position of Sales Manager, after which he was given responsibility for a range of domestic and export customers.
In 2014, he joined thyssenkrupp Stainless GmbH, first as Head of Distribution and later as Head of Regional Sales Enduser Europe. Since March 2022 Philip Torger has been with Böllinghaus Steel, where he holds the role of Business Development Manager Europe/Asia, with responsibility for expanding the customer network, exploring market opportunities, and developing and implementing suitable sales strategies.
Philip Torger has extensive experience of leading teams of professionals to launch and sell innovative and complex steel products in the global marketplace.
