Rich Wrightington is the Executive Director -Sourcing for Metals, Plastics and Packaging at GE Appliances located in Louisville Kentucky. He is responsible for $1.2B in total direct spend and the associated commodity and supplier strategies in support of 8 Appliance manufacturing sites.

Rich started his 30-year career with GE Appliances n the Edison Engineering Program. For the first half of his career Rich held several roles of greater responsibility in Six Sigma and Manufacturing including Plant Manager – Dishwasher Operations. In 2005 Rich transitioned to Sourcing and has held various Executive Leadership Roles for Dishwasher, Laundry, Capital Equipment and currently Metals, Plastics and Packaging.

Rich attended the University of Louisville and graduated with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering in 1991 and received his Masters in Industrial Engineering from UofL in 1992.
