Ryan Mitchell is a supply chain manager for forged products and raw material at Solar Turbines, San Diego, California. Ryan joined Solar Turbines in 2007 as an engineer in the Materials and Processes Department and has since held leadership roles in Supply Chain and Engineering.

Prior to joining Solar Turbines, Ryan was a consultant engineer for Gas Turbine Materials Associates, San Antonio, Texas, providing metallurgical and refurbishment support to clients operating industrial gas turbines from 2000 to 2007. Before starting his career around industrial gas turbines and materials, Ryan was a Metallurgical Services Engineer for TXI Chaparral Steel, Midlothian, Texas, from 1997 to 2000.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
