Sami Packalén is the CEO of Stalatube Oy, a global leader in stainless steel structural hollow sections and profiles. With over 20 years of experience in the stainless steel industry, Sami has held various leadership roles in strategy, global sales, and marketing. Under his leadership, Stalatube has expanded its international footprint and reinforced its position as a pioneer in sustainable stainless steel solutions.

Sami joined Stalatube in 2001 and has since progressed through the organization in multiple executive roles. Prior to becoming CEO in 2020, he served as Senior Vice President and earlier as Chief Marketing Officer, leading international commercial operations and strategic development. He also served as Managing Director of Stalatube B.V. in the Netherlands and as Managing Director of Stalatube Sp. z o.o. in Poland.

Sami, 51, holds an Executive MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Master of Science in Industrial Management from Tampere University of Technology. A Finnish native, Sami is multilingual and passionate about endurance sports and sailing.
