Seyong Chun is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of POSCO ASSAN TST, a stainless cold-rolled steel manufacturer in Türkiye. He joined POSCO in 1999 and worked there for 25 years before moving to POSCO ASSAN TST, a joint venture between POSCO and Kibar Holding, in 2023. Since then, he has served as Head of the Home Appliance Sales Department and, starting in 2024, has been leading the company as CCO.

During his career at POSCO, he mainly handled sales of high-quality, high value-added steel sheets for the automotive industry. Through close cooperation with leading global automakers, he contributed to mutual growth and success. His responsibilities covered collaboration not only with Korean automakers but also with global companies from the United States, Europe, and Japan, as well as emerging markets such as India and Mexico. Later, he worked for about four years in POSCO’s Sales Strategy Division, where he played a key role in shaping sales strategies, and also served several years in the Stainless Steel Sales Division, building extensive expertise across both sales and strategy.

Since joining TST, he has been actively responding to increasingly challenging market conditions while consistently improving business performance. By supplying reliable and competitive materials to both domestic and international customers, he has established mutually beneficial partnerships. Furthermore, by ensuring stable quality and shortened lead times based on fast delivery, he has played a crucial role in supporting the stable operations of major industries in Türkiye and abroad. He is also committed to strengthening POSCO ASSAN TST’s role in advancing the stainless steel industry in Türkiye and contributing to the growth of its key downstream industries.
