Stefan Müller-Bernhardt has been working in the stainless steel industry for over 35 years. He entered the industry immediately after completing his studies in Munich.

His wealth of knowledge is based not only on his roles at high reputed  stainless steel manufacturers, but also at international distribution companies.

He spent almost 25 years in management positions in France at Ugine, Voss Edelstahl and Jacquet Metal (parent company of Stappert GmbH), where he built up or reorganised companies.

After returning to Germany, he was managing director of Damstahl GmbH for several years. Since 2022, he has been running his consulting firm Stay-Stainless, sharing his wealth of experience in technology and sales in seminars and missions.  In 2023, he founded his own sales company: Venus Europe GmbH, a Europe-wide distributor of seamless stainless steel pipes in close cooperation with his Indian partner Venus Pipes and Tubes Ltd. He is also co-author of the book ‘Pricing in Turbulent Times’, published by Haufe Verlag.
