Tamara Weinert is currently SVP of Sales for South Europe and Overseas for Outokumpu, after being the CFO for Outokumpu in Europe from 2013 to 2016. Outokumpu is one of the largest stainless steel producers in the world and a listed company headquartered in Helsinki.

Her career before that included positions such as Head of Corporate & Structured Finance at Vattenfall Group, Treasurer and Director of Credit Risk Management at Nuon Energy and Head of Credit Risk and Contract Management at Mirant Europe, a subsidiary of Mirant Corporation of the United States. Prior to joining Mirant, Tamara worked some 17 years in various financial positions for Deutsche Bank; during her final years with Deutsche she worked as a Senior Credit Officer for Emerging Markets. She was based in Germany, India, Singapore, Russia and Pakistan. She also worked as the Senior Credit Officer on Deutsche’s trading floor in Singapore.

Tamara holds a Master Degree in Finance from Manchester Business School and an MSc in Protected Landscape Management from University of Greenwich.
