On October 31st, 2019 Tanja Bevc was appointed Managing Director of fischer Mexicana Stainless Steel Tubing in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

She joind fischer Mexicana in 2004 as Head of Sales. She strengthened and grew the customer base, as fischer Mexicana is a company with year to year growth in sales number. During her role as a sales leader, she developed the 1-person department into a strong sales team of 10 today. Customer orientation always has been the main pillar of her focus.

As a Managing Director, she successfully led the SLP plant through the crisis that followed the Pandemic in 2020/2021; in 2022 ISO 14001 certification was reached with success. Under her leadership a dual study program in cooperation with the local technical University (UT SLP) was implemented in 2023.

Her emphasis as a strategic industrial leader is balancing manufacturing efficiency, environmental compliance, talent cultivation and digital adoption. Through her guidance, fischer Mexicana has strengthened quality certifications, workforce development, and sustainability.

Tanja Bevc, 53, holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration and Management from the Technical University in Reutlingen, Germany.
