Verena Knott joined Metalshub in September 2019 as Head of People & Culture, taking over the responsibility for building the HR department from scratch, grow the team and a fruitful culture. In January 2023 she got promoted to Chief People Officer.

Verena, 34, made her career in the startup environment after working as a freelance journalist, followed by employments for several PR, marketing and tech agencies. Using her knowledge as a Business Coach, she sees it as her purpose to build an attractive culture and work environment for talents while accompanying Metalshub on its growth journey. Verena holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism as well as master’s degree in business psychology.
